1. Data Controller

Pl8ful is a nutrition and learning app for families. The data controller of the information you provide to us is the owner of the Pl8ful service (hereinafter, "we" or "us").

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data necessary to provide the service:

• Parent or guardian account: name, email address, and password (the latter stored securely, in a way that cannot be read by us).
• Children's profiles: name, gender (optional), and any allergies or dietary restrictions you provide (optional). We do not request sensitive health data or medical identifiers.
• App usage: meals you log (date, meal type, and selected foods), videos watched, and answers to learning quizzes, in order to display the child's progress.

We do not collect location data or device data beyond what is technically necessary for the app to function.

3. What we use it for

• To manage your account and the profiles of the children you register.
• To show you food suggestions (based on simple rules, without sharing data with third parties for advertising).
• To store meals and learning progress so you can view them in the app.

4. Who can access it

Only you, using your username and password, can access your children's data and meal records. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. If in the future we use cloud services (for example, to host the database), those services will be subject to agreements that guarantee confidentiality and use only for providing the service.

5. Where it is stored

Data is stored on the servers we use to run the application and the database. Passwords are stored in a way that prevents them from being read in plain text.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as you keep your account active. If you request account deletion, we may delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except for any data we are required to retain by law.

7. Your rights

You may access your data, correct it, request its deletion, or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights or if you have any privacy-related questions, you can contact us (for example, through the email address or channel indicated in the app or on the service website).

8. Children

Children's profiles may only be created by the parent or guardian from their account. By adding a child, you confirm that you have parental responsibility or guardianship and that you accept this privacy notice for the processing of their data in Pl8ful.

9. Changes

Any relevant changes to this notice will be communicated to you through the app or by email. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.
